The journal was registered with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan on June 2, 2022, under No. 249/MJ-97.

“Heritage of the East” has been submitted for inclusion (from 2025) in the List of peer-reviewed journals of the Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan that recommends journals for publishing the main scientific results of PhD and doctoral dissertations.

The journal has the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN): 20220601.

The journal is published in Tajik, Russian, and English. Periodicity: 4 issues per year.
